In the land of coffee...

For the past several months, my husband has been enrolled in a seminary program through the Resurgence and Acts 29 called Re:Train.  He has been loving his time studying more of the Bible and meeting with other men and women who are just as passionate to grow as he is.  This program involves traveling to Seattle once a month where he attends classes over a few days.

He has really wanted me to go with him and check out the city highlights as well as meet some of the other guys in his cohort that have encouraged him, challenged him, supported him in so many ways.  Spend time alone with my husband in an awesome city?!? I did not need to be asked twice :)

Thanks to Grama being able to fly out from Arizona to stay with the triplets and a VERY generous friend giving us a free ticket...we were Seattle bound!

We decided this would be our babymoon.   If you haven't heard of this before, it's where a couple takes a fun trip right before the new baby arrives...like a honeymoon but for parents.  A babymoon in the middle of Fall, in the land of coffee sounded wonderful.  My only complaint was that it seemed practically impossible to get a brewed cup of decaf anywhere in the city!! They are serious about their 'joe over there.  It was good.

We ate fish.  We visited Pike's Place market.  We ordered pizza and ate in bed. We ate burgers.  Drank coffee.  I got 3 hours of alone time EVERY DAY (say what?!?).  It was marvelous.  And I met some incredible men who have befriended my husband and encouraged him in ways I could not do.

A perfect way to prepare for the life change coming in February!
