I love hearing my children pray. It is one of the cutest and most precious moments ever. We've recently been praying for the people in Haiti and praying for the children who don't have a mommy or daddy anymore. We also pray that the Lord would use us however He wants to help and serve His people.
But, there are other prayers being offered that are just as genuine...yet a little less pertinent to world events. Here they are:
"Dear God, tank-you for Corban."
"Thank you for bumpy slides"
"Pray for Cinderella, Tink and Thomas"
"Pray for John, Garricyn and Ken-all (Kendall) and Maggots (Maddox)"...this our pastor/friend and family
"Pray for Da-da at the airport"
This last one is a prayer said by all in this household, as Daddy is off to a conference for Director training. You can bet there will be lots of playdates, lots of tears and lots of excitement for his return!

I will never forget when Liam bowed his head and said "Thank you God for Hungry Hungry Hippo"
ReplyDeletebut my favorite, maybe Nana told you, was when she was here and he bowed his head and said "Heavenly Father thank you for Nana and the Petrified Forest."
