Last weekend, my husband graduated from his seminary program called
Re:Train. So...all 7 of us piled into our minivan for the 13 hour trip north. 7?? you may ask. Yep. We brought along a friend of ours for help along the way. Katy called herself the mobile nanny--or Nanny McZuff as one friend put it (it's part of her last name). And let me tell you---she was AMAZING. Seriously, I don't think I would've made the trip without her.
I really enjoyed getting to meet the men in my husband's cohort: the group he's been working with over the last 10 months. These men have prayed for our daughter, prayed for my husband, invested in me, encouraged him and exhorted him in love & truth. It was a blessing to me to meet them and their wives and have a wonderful celebratory banquet together!
While he was wrapping up his final course, we took to the streets of Seattle. It did not rain a single drop while we were there and was absolutely beautiful!
