Happy Birthday, Trips!

**Wrote this but never posted on their birthday, July 20***

4 years ago today our world changed.  Entering into the world at 10:13, 10:14 and 10:15am our little triplets gave us a gift that no one else had: parenthood. 

To Elia, Cooper & Paisley, 

You were such tiny little babes with sweet little faces.  We prayed and watched over you for the 21 days you spent in the hospital without us.  We loved bringing you home: Ellie first...then Cooper & Paisley together.  We didn't know what we were doing---you didn't either.  But we made it.  Mommy and Daddy had LOTS of help from people you'll never really know.  But you loved them.  You made friends with so many and we pray that this love and heart for others will only continue to grow. 

Elia: you are just like your daddy. You are determined, precocious, love girlie things like purses, shoes and earrings.  You love to paint & color; a natural artist.  You have a fiesty spirit that we pray will grow into perseverance for the Lord and a confidence that stems from him. You are a beautiful dancer. 

Cooper: you are the coolest little guy.  You have such a sweet spirit that is sensitive to mommy's feelings.  You also are fearless and love adventure.  Superheros are your new obsession and I love playing Venom to your Spiderman or Green Goblin to your Batman. You have great determination.

Paisley: You are my little bucket of emotions.  You wear your heart on your sleeve.  You love board games and card games and we play Sequence & Old Maid 10 times a day.  You have such a funny personality. Your blue eyes are gorgeous and you love being the goofy little girl that makes others laugh. You are a teacher ....and hall monitor :)

Happy 4th birthday! We love you SO much.
