It has been such a busy busy couple of weeks. Things have gotten a little easier...thanks for your prayers! We just got to Phoenix after a wonderful time in Tucson. The Bickerton's were AMAZING hosts and we thoroughly enjoyed our many chats all throughout the week. I'm pretty sure our kids gave their daughter some tips on how to "share" (via lots of timeouts for doing the opposite) and how to "be polite" (via more timeouts for talking back). Our little 2 year olds are quite the rebellious ones these days.
Tucson did bring back a host of memories for Dave and me. We enjoyed reminiscing about college days like driving to Sabino canyon for worship and hiking, staying up all night at Coffee X change, meeting our good friends for the first time through the dorms, etc. What a special city it is for us. Yes, even though it is blazing hot all year round (slight hyperbole)...it will always be in our hearts. I'm excited to see the Lord use our friends in their work places and ministry places for His glory.
Now, it's time to settle into Phoenix with my family for a few days. On our agenda: boating with Uncle John, singing worship with my brother this sunday, driving around to see Christmas lights, downtown Glendale display, and hanging out with Grama and Pa. Fun times ahead!
So glad to hear how nice it's been for you, and the Bickertons ARE SO AMAZING! We would love to see you guys while you're in Phoenix to hang out, chat a bit and see each other's kids, so let us know.
